Minimal scientific prototype · local valence basis

SMILES → geometry → orbital layer

The server builds one 3D conformer and a compact local \(s,p_x,p_y,p_z\) orbital model. The browser draws the molecule and local orbital glyphs; it never samples a global volumetric wavefunction grid.

Drag to rotate · wheel to zoom. Amber/teal denote opposite signs of ψ (red/blue are kept for charge). White markers denote localized lone-pair directions. Chlorine, bromine, iodine, sulfur and phosphorus are rendered with minimal ns/np valence bases. Sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium are shown as compact ionic outer-s-type centers. The angular picture is educational, while radial extent remains schematic.
